The Portal allows you to instantly sort by case type, review a detailed summary of each waiting matter, and immediately download all of the documents you need to get started. When you accept a case from Houston Volunteer Lawyers, you also get access to a litany of legal resources and the support of a Houston Volunteer Lawyers staff attorney who is dedicated to your case until its conclusion.

HVLP Saturday Clinics
Come help HVLP with their Saturday Clinics to process new applicants and give short consultations! HVLP needs family lawyers to be at each clinic as many of the applicants are seeking advice on family law matters. The clinics are from 9:00a.m.-12:00p.m. Volunteers are asked to get there by 8:45a.m., so they can prepare for speaking with the applicants and learn the procedures of clinic. The last applicants will be seated at 12:00p.m., so you should be dismissed between 12:00p.m. and 12:30p.m.
